| dc.description.abstract | We make an analytical study of a metal-coated light waveguide whose guiding cross-section is bounded by two equiangular spirals. The dielectric guiding region lies between highly conducting cladding regions. The characteristic equation is derived under the scalar wave approximation for weak guidance. Dispersion curves are also shown and interpreted. | |
