Flow of power in a dielectric guide with transverse circular deformation

Abstract

Using the scalar wave approximation a numerical estimation has been made of the flow of power in a circularly bent planar weveguide. Some diagrams have been shown by plotting the power in the guiding (or core) region against the dimensionless core parameter for various azimuthal mode indices.
