| dc.description.abstract | In this paper, the third variant of super reltron i.e. explosive emission based gridless reltron has been proposed and its RF behavior has been investigated using CST Particle Studio. This proposed reltron structure is suitable for long pulse width operation and capable to achieve high pulse repetition rate due to the absence of conducting foils which reduce the chance of plasma formation. The simulation results predict that the device is capable to generate a peak RF power of 150 MW of >500 ns with a device efficiency of 30%. © 2019 IEEE. | |
