| dc.description.abstract | The alcoholic extract of the roots of T. cordifolia was investigated for its effect on brain amine levels in stressed rats. It was found to possess normalising activity against stress induced changes in norepinephrine (NE), dopamine (DA), 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) and 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid (5-HIA) levels. | |
