| dc.description.abstract | A miniaturized circular patch antenna with split triangular slit in the radiating patch is proposed. The radius of the patch is 23 mm and the ground plane size is 50 mm X 50 mm. The simulation is carried using CST Microwave studio software. The results show that the proposed antenna will resonate at 5.69 GHz frequency with extremely high return loss of 67.63 dB, and with a wide bandwidth of 575 MHz. The directivity is 6.372 dBi and the efficiency is 98.75 %. The proposed antenna has been successfully simulated, fabricated and tested. Good agreement between simulation results and experimental results is seen. This antenna will be useful in many Wi-Fi applications. © 2018 IEEE. | |
